I am one of the featured photographers for Becky Higgins' BIG photography giveaway today! I'm very excited to be able to help a deserving family and provide them with a family photo session. I'm also excited that a lot of people have commented! There are so many deserving families that were nominated- it's definitely not going to be an easy decision.

We'll see what happens- I'll let everyone know who I chose!

I recently became a fan of Becky Higgins on Facebook. I've been following Becky since early in my scrapbooking days- she was known for being one of those "scrapbook celebrities." Although I'm not following the scrapbook world as closely as I used to, I happened upon Becky's blog again recently and have been keeping up with it ever since. A few weeks ago, I found a post asking for professional/semi pro photographers to donate a photo session to a family in need. I sent in my entry, thinking "well, if she thinks I stink, she can always turn me down". Well, she didn't turn me down, so I am participating in Becky's "Big Photography Giveaway". I'm very excited to be a part of it- a LOT of people read Becky's blog, so it's a great amount of exposure. I'm most excited, though, about providing a family in need with some family portraits. I'm hoping that my photos can provide a little bit of happiness to a family that may be going through a hard time right now.
